Over the past few months, we've been accepting nominations, here at DC Inno, for our annual Coolest Companies Competition, a friendly challenge to find, spotlight and celebrate the local companies and startups with the best culture.
We asked you to tell us all about your business, its perks, and why your company is the coolest. And though you gave us a thousand different reasons—including free lunches, charitable initiatives, team outings, group trips, yoga, and much, much more—it was clear that, at the end of the day, if you love going to work everyday, then that's really cool.
Below, we've posted a list of the 100 Coolest Companies finalists to give you an idea of how D.C. businesses are keeping their employees happy and motivated. To determine the winners, we will be asking our readers to submit votes (Be sure to cast your vote below!) for the company that you think deserves the Coolest Companies crowns. The five companies with the most reader votes will be announced LIVE on stage at DC Fest on June 22.
During the event, we'll also announce our five Coolest Companies superlative winners as selected by the DC Inno team. One company will reign supreme in each of the following categories: Best Perks, Most Re-Tweetable, Most Athletic, Best Office Space and Top Travelers.
To recap: For this year's Coolest Companies Competition, we will name five 'Reader's Choice' winners, chosen by you the reader, and five superlatives winners decided by the DC Inno team. All winners will be announced at DC Fest on June 22!
