D.C.'s Momofuku Milk Bar, the 3 Stars Brewing Company and local pizza chain Matchbox all have one thing in common: they're the brainchildren of the creatives at Georgetown's //3877 studios. Inside you'll find the work of D.C. artist Kelly Towles, who is well-known for his work with DC Brau Brewery where he designed a few bottle labels, sprawled across the walls. The space is filled with mementos of //3877's creativity: skateboards with the architecture firm's logo on them hanging from the walls, a loft-style office space for the two founders, and, of course, a rotating variety of beer on tap and a wine rack. The studio was founded by David Shove-Brown and David Tracz in 2011. Shove-Brown is one of 150 finalists for DC Inno's 2016 50 On Fire awards. Let's check out the studios where design innovation is born....
