The wait is finally over! DC Fest is tonight from 5:30 - 9:30 PM at the Half Street Fairgrounds (aka The Bullpen.) The weather is looking perfect for some outdoor partying so hop over to the Bullpen, where 1,000+ young professionals will gather to celebrate working hard and playing harder in D.C. Come rock out to some stellar live music from Jeff From Accounting, meet some awesome people, and grab a cold brew with friends. So get ready, because DC Fest is the only place you'll want to be tonight.
Here is everything you need to know for tonight's event:
1. Arrive on time. Doors open at 5:30PM. Come on down with your printed or mobile ticket and ID so we can give you a wristband, and access to our many bar options! GA ticket holders will get one drink ticket included and VIP ticket holders will get open bar access for the night. You can snag tickets here.
2. Getting there. The event entrance is directly across from the Navy Yard Metro on Half Street. Just take the Green line to Navy Yard and you're set! Otherwise, the venue address is 1201 Half Street SE.
3. Come Hungry. We have an awesome food truck line up including DC Slices, Chix N' Stix, and Red Hook Lobster. We're sure you'll find something that will pair nicely with that cold beer.
4. Gather your Friends. Have your friends been procrastinating on buying their DC Fest tickets? Well, they are still in luck. We have tickets left, but they will not be available for much longer. We'll have limited tickets available at the door. Gather the squad so nobody has a case of Friday FOMO.
5. Bring your Business Cards & Startup Swag. DC Fest is a fun and casual spot to network with D.C.'s best brands (check out our sponsors!) and Coolest Companies finalists. Meet and mingle with D.C.'s best local innovators and talented professionals.
6. Share on Social Media. We'll be posting throughout the night using the hashtags #DCFest and #CoolestCompanies. Be sure to share your highlights and best pictures from the night. Also check out our DC Fest Snapchat filters! Send us a snap at DC_Inno.
7. Coolest Companies Winners Announcement. We'll reveal the ten Coolest Companies winners (including our two Readers' live on stage right at 8:30PM. Leading up to the announcement, make sure your team stops by the Coolest Companies video interviews on the deck so that you can tell the city what makes your office so awesome.
