If the 95 degree heat isn't enough of an indicator, summer is here and that means it's time to bring DC's coolest and most innovative companies together again for DC Fest. On September 22nd, we'll return to the Fairgrounds to let loose with DC's innovators and celebrate the winners of this year's Coolest Companies Competition.
Speaking of Coolest Companies, think your company has what it takes? Check out the 2015 winners video, then tell us why your company should take home the 2016 title. Nominations for the Coolest Companies Competition are open from now until August 19, giving you and your colleagues time to put together a stellar submission (bragging encouraged!) Over the summer we'll share photos of nominee's swanky office spaces, details on the happiest happy hours and all their awesome employee perks.
After we announce the list of finalists, we'll turn control over to our readers to weigh in on which companies they think are the coolest, naming two companies from the pool of finalists as the Readers' Choice Winners. Voting on DC Inno runs from August 23 to September 16. The 10 Coolest Companies Competition winners (including the two Readers' Choice picks) will be announced live at DC Fest on September 22.
Haven't been to DC Fest before? Mark your calendar for September 22; this is one party you won't want to miss. DC Fest is an outdoor festival celebrating working, living, and playing in Washington. In addition to the crowning of this year's Coolest Companies, we'll have live music, food trucks, summer cocktails, lawn games and all the best local brands. It's the perfect opportunity for your whole office to get out and celebrate the hard work you do year-round. Make sure to get your company shirts, shades, and sweatbands ready to go; you'll want everyone at DC Fest to know which office you're representing.
